Description: This was a percussion opera composed by colleague and then percussion-faculty member and chair, Professor Michael Udow. Many of the ideas were based upon Joseph Campbell’s writings. A trio of dancers contributed to the ambience and propelled the narrative. This was the first of several collaborations with Kasia Mrozewska, who was then a graduated student in theater design. Traveling to Orlando for the premiere at a percussion concert was great fun, and my first trip to Disney World.
