At the beginning of the dance we (or the ushers?) carried baskets of Hershey’s Kisses, which were distributed to the audience members at the outset of the dance, because I wanted them to have the taste of chocolate in their mouths while watching the dance.

Martha wore long white gloves which she took off within the dance, biting the fingertips of her gloves. We did a vertical hand wave gesture at each other, mirroring gestures in the music.  We wore simple costumes of leotards and tights.
